Info: Prior to his real estate career, Jim was an Oil Jobber. He and his partners
developed the 30 acre Truck Stop of America, located just east of I-95 on
SR 60, in the early 1970?s. To eliminate competition, he and his partners
purchased the majority of land at the I-95/SR60 interchange to put diesel
fuel restrictions on the land to eliminate competition. Shortly thereafter, they sold the Truck Stop and unintentionally landed in the real estate sales and development business. This was 1973 and Jim has since played a major role in the entire commercial development of the western county area. Jim has also worked closely with County officials in their initiative to develop a major Industrial Park.
Jim moved to Vero Beach immediately after WWII and has lived here ever
since. He is married and has two daughters and seven grandchildren.
Retirement is a word not in his vocabulary. He has been actively involved in the many facets of the community including Chamber of Commerce president.
